FAQ

Q. Are these official PANTONE matches?

The app provides nearest‑color suggestions. Please finalize color specifications using a physical swatch book, proofs, or real samples. Appearance varies with monitors, papers, and ink conditions.

Q. Which CMYK profiles are used?

CMYK values are approximate under common assumptions. In production, values and appearance depend on profiles, stock, screening, and ink density. Reconvert/verify with your printer’s recommended profile before mass production.

Q. Can I use this commercially?

Yes. The color codes / conversion values / palettes you obtain with this app may be used freely for both commercial and non-commercial purposes (no credit required). However, please refrain from redistributing / reselling / embedding the app itself or the color libraries, and from repurposing data via automated bulk scraping. For details, see Terms of Use.

Q. Does it work on smartphones?

This service is designed for desktop browsers. On phones, some features may not work or display correctly due to screen size and interactions (drag & drop, keyboard). For accuracy, use a modern desktop browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari).
